Vivo X21 was launched in China in March. And, in the beginning of this month, it made its debut in Singapore. Now it seems that Vivo X21 will reach in India at the end of May.
The company has started sending “Block the Date” invites to press in India. This invite contains a big ‘X’. It hints at the unveiling of an X-series smartphone in India. The main highlight of the phone is its under display fingerprint sensor. It means that there is no physical home button. Users only need to touch a circular on-screen fingerprint prompt to unlock their smartphone. Vivo X21 is one of those smartphones for which Google has released the Android P Beta update.
After the X20 Plus UD, this is Vivo’s second smartphone that has an on-screen fingerprint sensor. Vivo X20 Plus was launched in China in January, but this phone never came to Indian markets. So, it is possible that Vivo can launch X20 Plus UD instead of the X21 UD.
Vivo X21 is a mid-range mobile. The price of the phone in China is CNY 3598 (Rs. 37100). And, in Singapore, the phone is sold at a price of SGD 799 (39900). According to the reports, the price of Vivo X21 will be similarly high. Vivo will justify the price tag with new technology. The phone will come in three colors Red, Ruby, and Black. With the launch of Vivo X21 in India, it would become the first smartphone that has under display sensor feature in the market.
In India, Vivo X21 UD will compete with Honor 10 and OnePlus 6 that will also launch in India in few weeks.
